Sounds of Summer: Tall Paul & Kristie

Jacksonville – With roots in Cleveland, OH, Virginia Beach, VA & Boone, NC, Tall Paul found himself in Nashville, TN, a city which is known for Country music but actually is a really good home base for musicians of any stripe, particularly American roots music like Jazz, Blues, Rock and country’s cousin, Bluegrass. Kristie’s roots are actually in Nashville, so it’s no surprise that she’d be at home making music which is as eclectic as the city itself.

The duo’s live shows have become something of legend across the southeast. They’ve shared stages of various sizes and are equally at home in honky tonks and bars as they are on festival stages. But for as great as their touring live show has been, the concept of their album Whiskey & Wine happened when the pandemic shut 2020 down and forced Tall Paul & Kristie to reinvent themselves with weekly Facebook live shows.
