SpaceX Falcon 9 launches SES 03b mPOWER mission

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the SES O3b mPOWER mission to medium Earth orbit on Tuesday at 5:26 p.m. from launch pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center.

According to the 45th Weather Squadron, there was a 35% chance of a scrubbed launch.

SpaceX said this will be the first flight for the first-stage booster supporting this mission. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the Just Read the Instructions droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

This year, SpaceX has launched a total of 128 rockets: 123 Falcon 9, 2 Falcon Heavy, and 3 Starship, according to Space Explore.

Currently, there are no further launches scheduled for the remainder of the year, based on SpaceX’s flight schedule.
