JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Temperatures are expected to rise above average over the next 5-7 days under bright blue skies. The biggest hazard over the next several days will be the severe dry weather, with only a slight chance of showers returning to the area late Wednesday. Cool mornings with light winds will allow patchy fog to settle.
Friday: temperatures will climb from the upper 40s into the mid-70s under clear skies. Light winds and zero chances of rain will add to the ongoing dry weather across our region.
Winds will increase over the weekend, providing a nice breeze. Rip current risks along our area beaches will stay in the low to moderate range, and temperatures will settle in the low-to-mid 70s. The water temperature at the Jacksonville Beach pier is 68 degrees.
The weather for the Jags game and final fair day will be amazing, as highs soar into the upper 70s with increasing winds out of the west.
