Front brings higher rain coverage late Sunday into Monday

Minimal rain accumulation expected with the approaching system

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It won’t be as chilly tonight compared to last night. Low temperatures will fall into the low 40s to near 50 degrees west of Interstate 95, low to mid 50s east of Interstate 95.

A system across the Gulf will approach our area late Sunday into Monday.

A system will bring a few showers and storms to our area Sunday/Monday.

This system will bring slightly higher humidity to our area on Sunday and Monday. A few showers and storms will be possible during this timeframe as well. Highs on Sunday will be in the mid to upper 70s, and upper 60s to low 70s on Monday. Rain accumulation will be minimal with many spots picking up under a half of an inch.

High pressure will build back into our area for most of the upcoming week with highs reaching the mid to upper 70s under plenty of sunshine.
