Gusty winds and partly cloudy skies shape the weekend forecast for Northeast Florida, Southeast Georgia

Watch the skies and stay safe on the beaches during the Sea and Sky Air Show

Saturday futurecast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Our region is gearing up for a busy weekend with the Sea and Sky Air Show taking to the skies over Jacksonville Beach. But along with the excitement, beachgoers and boaters should be aware that marine and beach hazards are not to be ignored.

All area beaches will have a high risk of dangerous rip currents, thanks to building rough surf and blustery onshore winds gusting up to 40 mph. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect through at least Monday, so if you’re heading out on the water, be extra cautious.
