Sunny skies will wrap up the week as the wind increases from the northeast. Temperatures will be a little warmer Friday and this weekend with with increasing rain chances on. The northeasterly wind will build through the weekend with a high risk of Rip Currents likely. Breezy conditions and showers continue through the start of the week.

The nor’easter conditions along our beaches will begin late Friday. A High Risk of Rip Currents is expected this weekend and early next week. A Small Craft Advisory will also start on Friday Night or early Saturday. Flooding may also be an issue as the onshore breeze increases.

Tonight: Clear and chilly tonight with lows in the 40s and 50s inland, 60s along the beaches.

Friday: Clear skies and chilly temperatures will start the day with mostly sunny skies during the afternoon. Morning lows will be in the 40s and 50s inland with 60 along our beaches. Afternoon highs in the 70s to 80s. Wind NE 10-15 mph. Expect mostly clear skies and cool temperatures overnight.

Weekend: Warmer and windier. Partly cloudy and windy Saturday with increasing rain chances late on Sunday.

Tropics: Tropical Storm Melissa is expected to become a major hurricane with flooding rainfall over portions of the Caribbean through the weekend.
