Fall-like feels in the forecast as rain chances take a few days off

The onshore wind will continue Tuesday and Wednesday with warmer and drier conditions expected. The chance of showers and thunderstorms returns Thursday and Friday, followed by a cooler weekend.

Coastal Flood Warnings and Coastal Flood Advisories continue through early Wednesday morning.

Tonight: Cloudy and windy with a 50 percent chance of showers through around 5 p.m. Rain chances drop to around 20 percent through game time and overnight.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of afternoon, early evening showers, 30 percent. A mild start to the day with patchy fog followed by a warmer afternoon. Morning lows in the upper 60s and 70s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s inland, low 80s along the beaches. Wind ENE 10-15 mph with stronger gusts.

Looking ahead: Increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms return Thursday and Friday followe by a drier and cooler weekend.

Coastal Flood Warnings and Coastal Flood Advisories will continue through early Wednesday morning. For the Coastal Flood Warning, significant coastal flooding is expected. The strong onshore winds continue to trap the tides within the St. Johns River basin and with the Full Moon, widespread moderate flooding will occur.
