City of Jacksonville working to address high cost, lack of availability when it comes to child care

The cost and availability of child care are a major concern for many Jacksonville residents, and the Mayor’s Office is launching a task force to address the issue. The Child Care Solutions Task Force will work to find solutions focused on improving access, affordability and quality of child care, and addressing concerns with the child care workforce.
