Fleming Island marching band chosen as 1 of 2 bands to perform in Madrid’s New Year’s parade

Fleming Island High School’s marching band is taking its talent to Spain. The Golden Eagle marching band was selected to play in Madrid’s annual New Year’s parade in 2027. What makes this an even bigger deal is that only one high school band in the world is chosen to perform in that parade each year.
