St. Johns County marks completion of new County Road 2209 segment, expected to bring major relief

A major road project, over a year in the making, was officially completed on Tuesday morning. St. Johns County officials celebrated the opening of a new segment of County Road 2209, also known as the St. Johns Parkway, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new four-lane divided road connects Silverleaf Parkway to International Golf Parkway — creating a smoother route through one of the county’s fastest-growing areas.
