Rescued manatee returned to Ortega River after rehabilitation

SeaWorld Orlando, the FWC, JSO, the city of Jacksonville and volunteers worked together on Thursday morning to return Koa, an adult male manatee, to the Ortega River after he was injured and had to be rehabilitated. Koa was measured and his scars from the accident were identified, and he was tagged before his release back to the wild.
