‘Never happens over here’: Deadly shooting on Caljon Road leaves neighborhood shaken

Jacksonville police continue to investigate the fatal shooting of a teenage boy that occurred Tuesday night in a neighborhood near South Riverside and Lakewood. The shooting took place on Caljon Road, just off St. Augustine Road and south of Emerson Road. While the exact circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear, evidence shows the teen was shot at a home and then walked across the street before collapsing on the ground.
