Man arrested in connection with hit-and-run crash that killed 13-year-old girl in Arlington

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on Wednesday in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a 13-year-old girl in Arlington. JSO said Andre Myers, 54, was out on bond for felony charges and wearing an ankle monitor. Investigators were able to track him and found him sleeping inside his truck, where he was arrested. Myers is charged with leaving the scene of a crash without rendering aid involving a death, the sheriff’s office said.
