There’s a new Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, and they want to tell you a story.

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images(CNN) - Emma Watson has said she prefers to call herself "self-partnered" rather than single as she approaches her 30th birthday. Watson, 29, who rose to fame as Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" films, coined the phrase in an interview with British Vogue in which she discussed the pressures of turning 30. The actor and activist, whose birthday is in April, said she initially did not understand the "fuss" that surrounded the milestone. Speaking of how she had never believed the "'I'm happy single' spiel," she added: "It took me a long time, but I'm very happy [being single]. The full interview will appear in the December issue of British Vogue and will be available from Nov. 8.

Emma Watson and Tom Felton have known each other since childhood, growing up together on the Harry Potter sets as they played book smart heroine Hermione Granger and braggart villain Draco Malfoy, respectively. This past February, Watson shared a beautiful portrait of herself, with the caption, Friends capture you best, and tagged Felton as the photographer. Between the ages of 10 and 12 I had a really terrible crush on Tom Felton. In the meantime, Watson is preparing for her upcoming role in Little Women.
