Another 20,000 or more voters had been expected to use drive-thru polling locations Tuesday, Hollins said earlier Monday. “I cannot in good faith encourage voters to cast their votes in tents if that puts their votes at risk,” he said. Vence, 27, was arrested May 11 on suspicion of tampering with evidence - the same charge he was indicted on. The search for Maleah moved to Arkansas after the suspect allegedly confessed to community activist Quanell X, who visited him in jail last week.

HOUSTON - A robber was shot Thursday while trying to hold up a fireworks stand in north Harris County, deputies said. The incident was reported about 5:30 p.m. in the 14400 block of North Freeway, near Interstate 45 and East Airtex Drive. Carrie Ridenour, who was visiting Houston, said he noticed something wasn't right just before the shooting. "the gun and him in a hoodie in 110-degree weather," Ridenour.
