A Jacksonville-based shipping and logistics company is dealing with a serious security incident after about 50 looters targeted its barge Brooklyn Bridge near the Bahamas.

The Jacksonville Waterways Commission wants to put an end to coal ash shipments but for now, it has some more immediate changes in mind to prevent -- and respond -- to another spill.

The Bridgeport barge, which became stuck off the coast of Atlantic Beach in March after hitting the jetties, reached its final destination at North Florida Shipyards near TIAA Bank Field on Friday.
