Chris Holtzman joined News4JAX in October 2025. He is a member of the American Meteorological Society and is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designated by the American Meteorological Society.
Born and raised in Connecticut, he became fascinated with weather at a young age. His passion for tropical weather grew while he went through Hurricane Charley in Florida in 2004. From there, he knew that weather was his passion. He attended Lyndon State College in Vermont and received a Bachelor's in Atmospheric Science.
He began his career at WHSV in Harrisonburg, Virginia. From there, he worked at WCSC in Charleston, South Carolina. He is excited to continue his career in Florida.
While away from work, you can find him playing golf, going to the beach and exploring the area! A fun fact about Chris is that he holds a black belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate.
