The Warriors will host No. 8 Stanton (5-5) on Thursday night. Also in the top bracket are No. 2 seed Fernandina Beach (5-5) and No. 3 seed Paxon (6-4).

The Pirates were the area’s survivor out of that bracket last year and played for a state title in the SSAA.

In the 11-man state championship division, No. 6 seed St. Joseph (9-0), 7 seed Old Plank Christian (8-2) and 8 seed Eagle’s View (6-4) lead the way.

Games are scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m., although schools have the option to move their game up to avoid a conflict with Halloween.
