Jacksonville – The ScienceSIS Foundation is bringing Jacksonville’s biggest science celebration to James Weldon Johnson Park with Galaxy Fest 2025: on Saturday, September 6 from 11AM–4PM. This free, family-friendly festival will feature hands-on STEM activities, live entertainment, interactive stations, and special guests to inspire curiosity and confidence in kids of all ages. Founded by Erica Willie, The ScienceSIS Foundation serves the community by providing monthly STEM meetups and educational programs that open doors for underrepresented youth in science. High school senior Teju Vegi will also share why students are excited to be part of the movement. Learn more at www.TheScienceSISFoundation.org or follow ON Facebook or Instagram @TheScienceSIS.
