Amelia Island Dining month

Benefitting Blessings in a Backpack

Amelia Island – Now in its second year, Amelia Island Dining Month (Sept. 1–30) will showcase 10 of the island’s top restaurants, each offering exclusive three-course, prix-fixe menus for just $55 or $75.

$1 from every meal will benefit the North Florida Chapter of Blessings in a Backpack, which provides weekend meals to food-insecure elementary students across Nassau and neighboring counties. Currently, the program supports 70 students at Nassau County’s Hilliard Elementary School, with plans for expansion.

The participating restaurants are online at AmeliaIsland.com/DiningMonth and include everything from fine dining to southern favorites, such as Salt at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island and The Patio at 5th and Ash.

Along with amazing al fresco vibes and a rotating schedule of live performances, The Patio at 5th and Ash will be offering the choice between Surf and Turf or Citrus Glazed Halibut, paired with apps and delicious dessert offerings.

September is one of the best times of year to plan a getaway to Amelia Island. Known as the island’s “secret season,” this serene month offers all the beauty and charm of peak season with fewer crowds, gorgeous weather, and a lively calendar of events.

Dining Month is a great opportunity for visitors and locals to experience the island’s dining scene in a way they haven’t before. Plus, the restaurants receive great exposure through this month-long effort.
