Sweet Treats for Sweet Pups

Jacksonville – Sweet Paws Bakery is a student-led initiative created by Lauriana DiCarlo and Carlos Valenti, members of Sandalwood High School’s FCCLA chapter. Their project focuses on baking and delivering healthy, homemade treats to local animal shelters, including the Jacksonville Humane Society and ACPS. By combining culinary skills with community service, Sweet Paws Bakery supports shelter animals while raising awareness about the importance of adoption and volunteerism. Lauriana encourages viewers to get involved by donating, volunteering, or starting their own community projects—proving that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact.
