Meet Annie!
She has been patiently waiting in a foster home for her forever family to find her. She is the perfect companion and absolutely loves children.
If you have kids who need a snuggly, loving dog to grow up with, she would love nothing more than to be a part of a family. 🥹
“She’s literally perfect,” says Kelly from Fur Sisters, the rescue organization currently fostering Annie. “She reads your energy, she’s great with kids, and she doesn’t even need to be crated when left alone. She’s the dream companion.”
Annie needs to be an only dog due to her past experiences of being attacked by another dog. But she has more than enough love to give to you and your family. She is so sweet and well-behaved.
Annie is around 3 years old, has been through training, is great on leash, and not reactive on walks.
She loves being outside in the kiddie pool or playing a game of fetch!

A Little Background
Annie’s journey hasn’t been the easiest. She was attacked by other dogs in her previous home, making her understandably cautious around other pups. For that reason, she’s best suited as the only dog in a household — but don’t let that deter you.
“If you’re only looking for one dog, Annie is the perfect match. She’s loyal, low-maintenance, and ready to be part of your family,” Kelly adds.
Upcoming Events: How You Can Help
Supporting dogs like Annie is easy — and fun!
- Bingo Night: Taking place the first Thursday of every month, the next Bingo Night is extra special as it doubles as a birthday celebration for Kelly! Held at Ajua Mexican Kitchen & Bar, the event includes happy hour specials and a guest host to call the numbers. All proceeds go toward covering veterinary costs for rescue dogs.
- Volunteer at Country Fest: On June 14, you can help pour beers at Jacksonville Beach’s Country Fest. All the tips earned will benefit Fur Sisters and the wonderful animals they support.
