JaxReady Fest is a free, family-friendly event designed to help Jacksonville residents get prepared, stay safe, and have fun while doing it. Sponsored by JEA and hosted by the City of Jacksonville Emergency Preparedness Division, this two-day event features more than 70 community partners, live safety demonstrations, and hands-on learning opportunities. Families can enjoy free preparedness giveaways to help them build their emergency kit and enter to win prizes. Kids (and kids at heart) can get up close to emergency response vehicles from Jacksonville Fire Rescue, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, JEA, and more. JaxReady Fest takes place April 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and April 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. Follow @JaxReady or visit JaxReady.com/Fest to learn more.
