River City Beats: The Fernandina Songwriters Festival

The third annual Fernandina Beach Songwriter Festival is set to captivate audiences this weekend. Running from April 10-12, in beautiful Amelia Island, Florida. The festival was founded by music industry veteran Tammy Rogers King, along with Fernandina local and songwriter Sean McCarthy and Avid music lover Alexandra Maddox. The festival showcases an impressive lineup of renowned songwriters from across the nation, highlighting both their chart-topping music and the compelling storied behind their songs.

Entering it’s second year as a nonprofit organization, the Fernandina Songwriter Foundation continues its mission to enrich local culture and support Emerging Artists offering a unique blend of intimate performances and meaningful engagement between songwriters and audiences.

The festival kicks off Thursday April 10th with an exclusive VIP meet-and-greet, granting special access to festival performers for sponsors and VIP Ticket holders. Additionally, the Foundation is offering a workshop hosted by Belmont University songwriting professors, Thomm Jutz and Liz Hengber ar Story and Song Bookstore and Bistro. On Friday, April 11th, the festival shifts into high gear with songwriter rounds featuring two captivating sets from each featured artist. Friday evening offers special opportunities for VIP and ticketed guests, including autograph sessions, photo ops, and personal stories shared. Plus a highly anticipated performance by Troubadour Blue will headline the festivities.

The festival culminates on Saturday with an extended and unforgettable showcase by featured artists, climaxing in the evening with the celebrated “Grand Ole Opry Showcase”
