The Clay County Agricultural Fair officially opens on Thursday, April 3, welcoming families and visitors for a week of entertainment, agriculture, and community engagement. The opening day kicked off a series of themed events designed to enhance the fair experience.
On opening day, the fair runs from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The fair will conclude on Sunday, April 13.
Each day of the fair features a unique theme, including:
- Friday, April 4: “Fiesta Family Friday,” sponsored by Norsan Media
- Saturday, April 5: “Clay AG Day,” sponsored by Harrell & Harrell
- Sunday, April 6: “Clay Health Day,” sponsored by Ascension St. Vincent’s Clay
- Monday, April 7: “Taste the Fair Day,” sponsored by Winn-Dixie
- Tuesday, April 8: “Our Fair Cares Day,” sponsored by First Coast News, where attendees can bring canned goods, pet supplies, or school supplies to receive $5 admission
- Wednesday, April 9: “Senior + Inclusive Day,” sponsored by HCA Orange Park Hospital
- Thursday, April 10: “VyStar Family Day,” sponsored by VyStar Credit Union
- Friday, April 11: “Student Fair Day,” sponsored by Thrasher Horne Center
- Saturday, April 12: “Celebrate Clay Day,” sponsored by Seminole Electric
- Sunday, April 13: “Hero Day,” sponsored by Xfinity
In addition to the themed days, the Picnic Project raises awareness for 20 North Florida charities, featuring tables painted by local professional artists on display throughout the fair’s 11 days.
For guests with additional needs, the fair offers Sunflower Hours on April 6 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. During this time, the fair will be as quiet as possible, providing extra services for those who may have sensitivities to sounds and crowds. Registration is required for this special hour.
