First Coast Blessings in a Backpack is nonprofit that provides food on the weekend to nearly 5,000 kids on the First Coast. They serve 40 schools in four counties - Duval, St. Johns', Clay and Nassau. In the Jacksonville area, over 90,000 kids are at risk of going hungry every weekend. These kids rely on their school’s free and reduced-price meal program to provide the nourishment they need to learn and grow. But, what happens to these kids when school closes its doors on Friday? Who will feed the kids this weekend? Together, we will!
The Eighth Annual SOUPer Bowl—is a night where we taste our region’s best chefs and their soup while raising money to feed hungry kids in our community.
Proceeds from this event will help provide weekend nutrition for school-aged children in the Jacksonville area who might otherwise go hungry. With your support, we hope to reach our goal of serving nearly 5,000 kids this school year!
Activities include Soup tasting, live music, silent auction, wine, whiskey, desserts, and more! It’s sure to be a fun evening.
