Pawsing for Pets: Help Juno find her furever home!

This sweet little girl is about 3 months old, and she needs a home. Her name is Juno.

She was rescued by the Nassau Humane Society from a shelter in central Florida where she, her mom and her three siblings were on the kill list.

Thankfully, their mom has just been adopted, but the puppies are ready and waiting for their new homes!

The Nassau Humane Society said it has a crop of puppies and kittens at the shelter right now -- and summer is a great time for children (or anyone really!) to learn how to take care of a pet!

The Nassau Humane Society is committed to promoting the humane treatment of all animals. Their mission is to alleviate suffering and neglect among animals, while also fostering the human-animal bond. They strive to create an environment where people respect all living creatures.

In pursuit of their mission, the Nassau Humane Society tackles the most pressing animal welfare issues in their community, particularly animal overpopulation and homelessness. Their approach prioritizes solutions that benefit both pets and people.

The society offers rescue and control services as a lifeline for animals in distress and to ensure the safety of the community. They actively promote pet adoption, animal-assisted therapy, pet care education, outreach spay and neuter programs, and other initiatives to support animal welfare.

If you would like to help them further their mission, consider volunteering your time, becoming a foster, or making a monetary donation.
