The JHS Adoption, Education & Pet Help Center is located at 8464 Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville.

The shelter will be open from 12-7 p.m. on Thursday for this event.

Anyone interested in adopting is welcome to stop by in person to look at all of the animals waiting for homes or visit the shelter’s website at jaxhumane.org to view all available dogs and cats.

“JHS is proud to honor and support our senior community members and senior pets,” said Lawrence Nicolas, JHS CEO. “We can’t wait to see the meaningful connections this special event will make possible.”

Additional fees may apply. All pets are altered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
