ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Catholic Charities St. Augustine chapter is accepting applications for its annual Hope for the Holidays program to provide Christmas assistance and toys to families with children facing financial hardship.
Applications are accepted in person only on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Catholic Charities St. Augustine office, 525 State Road 16, Suite 112, St. Augustine, Fla. The program is first-come, first-served.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have children living in the home.
- Submit proof of St. Johns County residency, such as a current electric, water or cable bill; vehicle registration; or a lease agreement and/or mortgage documentation.
- Bring original Social Security cards for parent(s) and children.
- Bring original birth certificates for all children.
- Present a photo ID.
- Prepare a list of gift ideas for all family members before arrival.
Through its network of local partners, Catholic Charities St. Augustine gathers toys and other assistance for families who otherwise might not have gifts to open during the holidays.
