St. Augustine Recycling Event

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The City of St. Augustine is hosting its annual free document shredding and electronics recycling event.

The free community event will be on Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Solid Waste Facility located at 601 Riberia Street.

The city is offering an opportunity for the community to shred documents (five box limit), recycle outdated or broken electronic devices and dispose of used cooking oil.

Items that will not be accepted at this event include TVs, hazardous waste, such as paint and pesticides, used tires, or motor oil.

Acceptable recyclable items are:

Throughout the year, the City of St. Augustine accepts recyclable materials daily during regular business hours. You may take e-waste to the Solid Waste Facility, located at 601 Riberia St., and cooking oil to the Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 501 Riberia St.
