NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. – Fletcher High School was briefly placed on lockdown on Wednesday after an online threat to “shoot up the school” was made by a student, according to the school’s principal.

The lockdown has since been lifted, and all students and staff were reported safe. The principal said, however, that the student who made the threat faces “severe consequences,” which could include possible criminal charges.
