There was an interesting dynamic played out in the Gaza peace accord that led to the ceasefire and release of the hostages. Before the details were worked out, there was no sequenced roadmap or painstaking architecture to provide a foundation for a lasting and durable peace. That is counter to traditional US foreign policy.
