ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – A student at Santa Fe High School now faces charges after he was accused of injuring another student with a knife during a fight on Tuesday.
According to the Alachua Police Department, the fight broke out between students on Thursday around 12:26 p.m.

Police said that during the incident, 18-year-old Christopher Teague pulled out a five-inch pocket knife and stabbed another student three times.
Police did not detail what led to the fight.
The student suffered critical injuries and was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. Police said he was in stable condition.
Teague was charged as an adult and faces felony charges, including aggravated battery, possession of a weapon on school property. and disturbing the peace.
The school was placed on a brief lockdown after the incident as a precautionary measure, but police concluded that there were no other active threats.
