Nassau County Sheriff’s Office investigating bank robbery in Yulee

YULEE, Fla. – The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bank robbery in Yulee that happened Friday evening.

The sheriff’s office said the suspect entered First Federal Bank and demanded money from a teller and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

The man is described as wearing a teal polo shirt, gray jacket, gray ball cap, and dark glasses. He also has a bowed-out left leg.

“We take crimes like this very seriously and are dedicating all available resources to apprehend the person responsible. We are grateful no one was hurt, and we urge anyone with information to come forward,” Sheriff Bill Leeper said.

Anyone who may have seen the man is asked not to approach him and call 911 or the sheriff’s office non-emergency line at (904) 225-5174.
