Duval County

Spooktacular at Jacksonville Zoo: Spooky thrills or a family-friendly adventure will be ready to for families from Northeast Florida and beyond to the Jacksonville Zoo in October.

The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens’ 38th annual Spooktacular event is a family-friendly fall event that will be held on Oct. 4, 10-12, 16-19, 23-26, 30-3.1

Haunt Nights returns to Adventure Landing: Be sure to check out the largest 3D haunt in Jacksonville! Haunt Nights makes its highly anticipated return to Adventure Landing this Halloween. Open select nights running through Nov. 1. You can find more information here.

Congaree and Penn Pumpkin Patch: From Sept. 20 to Nov. 10, enjoy live music, a pop-up bar, a food truck, and the pumpkin patch on select evenings this fall. Farm passes include access to the farm grounds, access to the pumpkin patch, and access to live music. Pick your pumpkin and purchase your pumpkin at the farm stand. Pumpkins are $12 each. Rocky Horror Picture Show 2025: “The ultimate Halloween movie, Rocky Horror is now a cult classic, preserved by the Library of Congress!” The evening begins on Oct. 25 at 8 .m., Bring your costumes, bring your props (no food, please), and come early for the live music. The Town of Orange Park Fall Festival: Oct. 18 & 19. “The Town of Orange Park Fall Festival is Clay County’s oldest and largest Arts and Crafts Festival! Green Cove Springs Police Department (GCSPD) Annual Trunk or Treat 2025: “Green Cove Springs Police Department (GCSPD) Annual Trunk or Treat 2025 will be held on Friday, October 24, from 6 pm to 9 pm and located at 1001 Idlewild Avenue, GCS. It’s hosted by the Green Cove Springs Police Department with volunteer support from the community and other City staff. There are decorated trunks, food trucks, games, inflatable bounce houses and slides, dunk tank, dance and costume contests, a canned food drive, and so much more!
