Motorcyclist dies after crash involving SUV on Roosevelt Blvd. near NAS Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A motorcyclist died Wednesday morning following a crash involving an SUV on Roosevelt Boulevard near Naval Air Station Jacksonville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP said the motorcyclist was transported to a hospital, where he died.

According to FHP, the SUV crashed into a signal box in front of NAS Jacksonville, causing a delay at the traffic signal.

The road was cleared around 9:50 a.m., FHP said.
