Going Ringside Ep. 123: Jacksonville’s Victoria Crawford (AKA Alicia Fox) returns to national spotlight

Crawford recently showed up in TNA Wrestling, challenges for title May 23rd

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Following a hiatus from the national spotlight, Northeast Florida native and Nease High School Grad Victoria Crawford has returned.

Fans knew her for almost two decades as Alicia Fox in WWE until she left the company in 2023. Then last month Crawford showed up in TNA Wrestling. TNA is another major national wrestling brand and here she’s ditched the stage name Alicia Fox and is now performing under her real name. This time Crawford was specifically billed as hailing from “Neptune Beach, FL” where she now resides.

Crawford was quickly dominant in her debut.

And Crawford credits a famous ring veteran for bringing her back. “Tommy Dreamer has been a TNA Superstar, I guess now he is part of the office,” said Crawford. “So when I bumped into him about a signing I asked him about TNA. Like are you guys hiring. And he was like ‘I’ll get you in kid.’”

But she’s also been quickly seen alongside one of the most controversial performers in TNA, Tessa Blanchard.

Blanchard is so hated by many fans TNA even started selling shirts that read “I hate Tessa Blanchard”.

“She seemed really cool,” Crawford said of Blanchard. “She’s got a lot of heat in the business so it’ll be easy to see what kinds of stories we can tell.”

While this is possibly Crawford’s highest profile role since leaving WWE, she has had high profile matches.

In recent months Crawford wrestled Jordynne Grace and a match against Indi Hartwell that was shown exclusively on Going Ringside.

And soon enough Crawford is challenging for a title once again. She faces TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich on May 23rd.

Crawford said she’s going to push herself and fans may see some new things from her in the ring. “Things I’ve never done before,” said Crawford. “So, I’m looking forward to that.”
