ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – For the past three years, St. Augustine has become the home of one of the most special Black History Month events in Northeast Florida. Now, in its 4th year, the Fort Mose Jazz and Blue Series is continuing its tradition of bringing live music to one of the most historical sites in the nation—Fort Mose Historic State Park.

The 4th Annual Fort Mose Jazz & Blue Series takes place over two weekends.
The music series begins Feb. 6 with Grammy Award-winning jazz fusion band Snarky Puppy. The music will continue on Feb. 7 with Grammy-nominated R&B legend KEM, bringing some romantic vibes right before Valentine’s Day. Then to close out the first weekend, Tower of Power will bring more than five decades of funk and soul music for a legendary performance.

The second weekend of the music series creates the perfect soundtrack for the Valentine’s Day weekend.
On Valentine’s Day, music supergroup Dinner Party blends jazz, hip-hop, and soul into a sound perfect for the most romantic day of the year. The Grammy-nominated supergroup features Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, and Kamasi Washington.
Then Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Macy Gray will conquer the stage with her famous raspy voice on Feb. 15.
And to wrap the series up, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band will be joined by Sierra Green and The Giants to bring the sound of New Orleans to the Sunshine State.

Ticket prices vary based on the show and range from $49-$124. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the Fort Mose Historical Society’s mission to preserve the rich history of Fort Mose. The music series has raised over $129,000 since debuting in 2022.
