Falcon 9 launched 23 Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral

CAPE CANAVARAL, Fla. – SpaceX Falcon 9 was equipped with 23 Starlink satellites for low-earth orbit and was scheduled for launch Thursday from Cape Canaveral.

Viewing conditions in Jacksonville for the Falcon 9 launch were partly cloudy, with a 20% chance of rain, making semi-viewing conditions favorable.

On Wednesday, Falcon 9 was scrubbed due to weather conditions.

According to the 45th Weather Squadron, there is a 20% chance of a scrubbed.

According to Space X, “This is the third flight for the first-stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched Crew-9 and one Starlink mission. Following stage separation, the first stage will land on the Just Read the Instructions drone ship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.”
