Man, 30, sets himself on fire inside Florida Publix 30-year-old in critical condition after fire

PLANT CITY, Fla. – Police in Plant City are investigating why a man was on fire inside a Publix Supermarket, News4JAX’s sister station WKMG reported.
Police said they received a call around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday about a 30-year-old man on fire inside the store on James L. Redman Parkway in Plant City.
People inside the store tried to extinguish the flames. Plant City Fire Rescue took the man to a nearby hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
It’s not known what led to the incident.
Police and the Division of Investigative and Forensic Services are investigating.
