Pedestrian struck, killed on Dunn Avenue

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Friday night on Dunn Avenue, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened about 11:55 p.m.
According to the Highway Patrol, a 46-year-old Jacksonville woman was struck by a Dodge Charger that was traveling east on Dunn Avenue through the intersection at North Campus Boulevard. Troopers said the woman died.
An FHP news release said the woman was crossing the roadway outside of the crosswalk when she was hit.
The driver of the Charger pulled over into the center median after the crash, troopers said.
The driver, a 22-year-old Jacksonville man, was not injured, according to FHP.
