At the Box Office: January movies bring laughs and suspense

A diamond heist, wedding disaster and musical round out movies for first month of 2025

It has been a tough and cold start to the new year, so if you’re looking for a movie to check out now is the time.

William Ferrell is back with Reese Witherspoon in the movie ‘You’re cordially invited’.

Imagine you pick your wedding day only to find out the beautiful venue is double booked.

This is exactly what happens to the two as they battle it out to make a perfect day for each of their loved ones. This comedy is Rated R but look forward to laughing a lot. It will be released on Prime Video on Jan. 30.

In theaters right now, ‘Den of Thieves 2: Pantera featuring O’Shea Jackson Junior (Ice Cubes’ son) and Gerard Butler. They go on a diamond heist but steal from the wrong people and it’s all bad from there. This movie is Rated R.

Lastly, ‘Better Man’ with Robbie Williams, tells his life story and rise to becoming a British pop star, but he tells the story as an animal. You’ll have to be open to the idea of creativity for this unique approach.
