Sunny skies with increasing Northeast winds at the coast

Gusts could reach 30 mph, high rip current risk through the weekend

Saturday Fore-cast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Early morning fog across the inland zones should burn off by 9 a.m. Coastal areas will experience increasing northeast winds, reaching moderate speeds by late afternoon, while inland areas remain calm and warm.

Beachgoers and outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the warm sunshine but should be prepared for breezier conditions near the coast. Boaters and fishermen should be cautious of the increasing northeast winds, which could cause choppier waters.

Tides:

  • Jacksonville Beach, high at 7:45 a.m., low at 2:01 p.m.
  • Jacksonville Main Street Bridge, high at 9:53 a.m., low at 4:11 p.m.

Can’t rule out coastal showers pushing inland with an isolated thunderstorm possible Saturday afternoon.
