Fall-Like Temperatures Arrive as Coastal Flooding Persists

Coastal Flood Advisories have been extended through Saturday at 6:00 a.m. Increasing onshore winds this weekend could bring further extensions to the Advisory.

Partly cloudy skies with slightly cooler temperatures will continue through the weekend. Fall starts in 11 days! Enjoy the early Fall temperatures during the morning, followed by near seasonal afternoon highs as the onshore wind continues.

The increasing onshore winds this weekend will bring isolated showers and thunderstorms to our coastal zones as high tides continue to bring flooding along our waterways.

Tonight: Light breeze under partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Wind: NE 5 - 10 mph.

Friday: Cooler under mostly clear skies with areas of patchy fog. Isolated showers will be possible along our southern coastal counties, 20 - 30 percent. Coastal Flood Advisories have been extended through Saturday and flooding will be possible along the Intracoastal, River and tributaries at high tide. Breezy northeast wind continues, 10- 15 mph inland, 15 - 20 mph with stronger gusts along the beaches. Lows in the 60s to low 70s. Afternoon highs in the 80s. Mostly clear and cool overnight.
