A cooler night under clear skies.

Temperatures will drop to seasonal levels or slightly below. Light, shallow fog may form in our southern counties tonight and early Wednesday. High clouds will start moving in during the day as a frontal boundary approaches on Thursday.

Tonight: Mostly clear and cooler with overnight lows in the 60s to low 70s inland, 70s along the beaches.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with near seasonal afternoon highs. Mostly clear skies early and cooler, with lows in the 60s to 70s. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 80s to low 90s inland and the upper 80s along the beaches. Winds will turn northeast at 5-10 mph. Mostly clear skies with light fog inland.

This week: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms will creep back into the forecast Thursday with increasing rain chances Friday through the weekend. The pattern will be similar to what we saw last week with rounds of rain expected daily.
