JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Muggy conditions continue Saturday as the humidity stays in place across the region. A stalled frontal boundary keeps the rain falling, as well.
Highs will stay in the upper 80s to low 90s. Beginning at 10 a.m., a Flood Watch has been issued for all Southeast Georgia counties, as well as Duval and Nassau counties in Northeast Florida, through midnight.
Slow-moving downpours could result in 1-2 inches, locally as high as 3-4 inches. Areas that have seen abundant rainfall amounts are prone to localized flooding.
The storms should taper off after sunset, leaving behind mostly cloudy skies overnight.
