We are in for a stormy, steamy stretch as the week unfolds.

Thursday kicks off with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper-80s, with scattered thunderstorms expected to pop up throughout the day.

By Friday, the clouds hang thick and heavy, bringing a mix of showers and a chance of more thunderstorms, keeping highs near 85°F.

The weekend doesn’t offer much relief—Saturday begins with morning storms and transitions into heavy afternoon downpours that could lead to ponding on the roads, while temperatures hover in the 80s yet again.

Sunday keeps the humid, stormy pattern alive, with more intense afternoon thunderstorms possible and highs climbing to the upper 80s again.

As the new week begins, Monday brings another round of humidity and thunderstorms, pushing the mercury to 92°F.

Tuesday and Wednesday stay on trend, with highs reaching into the low to mid-90s and a continued chance of afternoon storms.

With the mix of heat, humidity, and daily thunderstorm chances, Jacksonville residents should keep umbrellas close and stay alert for changing skies—especially during the weekend when downpours could make travel tricky.
