Locally heavy rainfall with flooding will be possible, as well as strong wind gusts. Strong to isolated severe storms will be possible.
The onshore flow continues this week with the Atlantic sea breeze moving inland through the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will develop near the River, mainly after around 1 - 2 p.m. These will move further inland with the prevailing breeze before weakening after sunset.
Evening: Showers and thunderstorms through sunset, then weaken late tonight.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies will become mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms after 1-2 p.m. Rain chances are 40-60 percent. Morning lows will be in the 70s. Afternoon highs will reach the 90s inland with upper 80s to low 90s along our beaches. Wind N/NE 5-15 mph.
This week: Showers and thunderstorms will move inland with the shifting Atlantic breeze. Skies will become cloudy with showers and storms developing during the afternoon and lingering through sunset.
Tropics: We are watching Invest 93 in the Gulf. Tropical models are quiet on the development of the low, but local models show the potential of heavy rain across the Panhandle and Gulf Coast states as the low moves west.
