Hot and humid with “feels-like” temperatures over 100

Saturday Forecast

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It’s going to be a hot and humid day with “feel-like” temperatures over 100. Otherwise, there’s a chance of afternoon showers with some isolated thunderstorms, mainly in Southeast Georgia and areas north of I-10.

Expect highs to be in the low-to-mid 90s with the sea breeze staying at the beach. This will hinder most thunderstorm development along the coast. Winds will be out of the west, bringing in moisture from the Gulf.

Saturday evening will also be warm, staying in the 70s under partly cloudy skies.

Sunday, storms are looking more intense in the afternoon with the possibility of damaging winds up to 40mph, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours.
