Jacksonville, FL – Most of the showers and thunderstorms have moved offshore, the stragglers will end in the next hour or so.

A quiet night with clearing skies and patchy fog. Fog will develop overnight across our inland areas.

The stormy, summer pattern continues this weekend. Scattered showers with storms will develop around noon near and along I-75 and around 2 p.m. near I-95. Strong to isolated severe storms will be possible in southeast Georgia with locally heavy rain and wind remaining as the main hazards.

The unsettled pattern and offshore wind continue through the start of the week.

Tonight: Showers, thunderstorms ending around sunset. Patchy fog overnight.

Weekend: Hot and humid with scattered showers with thunderstorms, 30-50 percent. Scattered showers with thunderstorms will develop as early as noon around I-75 and then progress inland to Highway 301 around 1 - 2 pm. Lows in the 70s. Afternoon highs in the 90s. Wind: SW 10 - 15 mph. Partly cloudy overnight with patchy fog.

Tropics: No tropical development is expected over the next 7 days.
